My name is Alex McLellan, and I am launching a new adventure in career, travel, and life as a whole – through teaching English!
On this site, you can join me in exploring my growth as an educator. I will translate my passion for the role of education in society into a personal philosophy of teaching. This will be informed by my studies as well as critical reflections on teaching I observe and teaching I undertake myself. The outcomes of my professional development can also be understood through my lesson plans, resume, and other examples of impact throughout my career.
I hope to move to South Korea to teach and to explore a new place and new people. As someone dedicated to education, I am also committed to life-long learning in language, culture, and more. As my adventure continues, I may post about these experiences as well.
